Swordplay Games

Who or what is this Swordplay Games you ask? Well, first off we are yet another part of the Swordplay Family, a small but growing group of teams that work on many different projects and ideas. Mainly, Swordplay Games is a new upstart in the indie game arena.

We are not here to tell you that we are creating the next great WoW clone or FPS market leader, but instead we are game enthusiasts that … put simply, love games. We enjoy working on all things games, from computer games to pen and paper games, RPG’s, stories and more. Our goal is to do what we enjoy, and that is to create games, game content and more to share with everyone.

We plan to have Commercial offerings at some point in time, but we also plan to offer up tons of free content for everyone. The free flow and sharing of information will hopefully inspire and enable others to do the same. Maybe we can get some stuff back from the community and everyone can benefit.

I got my start in gaming communities when I played quite a bit of Half-Life years ago. I ran several Half-Life servers and started a wonderful community called SunLit’s Half-Life Of Horrors with some good friends. At one time we had the fifth most popular Half-Life server in the world, something I am still very proud of since it was running a mod that I wrote, the Half-Life of Horrors mod. That community has since evolved and moved on, now called SunLit Games and still being run by two of the original admins, Capt. John and Dr. Deb.
